March 5th, 2008 at the Plains All-American Office Building
Plains All-American has Partnered with the Fort Billings Preservation Committee
Plains All-American has partnered with the Fort Billings Preservation Committee and are working with a subdivision out of Burlington, NJ of the URS Corporation. They are going to conduct an archaeological study of the fort's site. On January 28th-29th, URS conducted ground-penetrating radar to the area with results to be reported in March. The URS Corporation is world renowned and one of the largest engineering, construction and technical services firms worldwide. Information on URS Corporation can be found at

Committee
has officially been granted Non-Profit status!
"Digging"
the Fort Site
The
Richard Grubb Cultural Resource Consultants, have submitted a
proposal to Plains All-American about "digging" the
fort site. Lawyers are reviewing the documents. More information
coming soon!!!
Friends
of the Fort is Now Available
To
Become a Friend of the Fort send email to friendsfort@aol.com.
Basic Membership dues of $25 per individual/family, Gold membership
of $50. Gold Members recieve free "Gold" DVD with past
Newsletters, and PowerPoint Show of pictures, maps, and artifacts
of Fort Billings. Business Memebership will be $100 for Basic
and $250 for Gold. Businesses will recieve Certificate of Membership,
and Gold Business Members will recieve spot in our Newsletter
and the "Gold" DVD. Support the Cause!!!
